Make dog-safe cosmic brownies and Anzac biscuits at home using Dog Mom Club DIY mixes. Step-by-step recipes from our co-founder Leia.

Want to bake for your pup at home? Our DIY mixes make it easy. Below are two of our favorite recipes — dog-safe cosmic brownies and Anzac biscuits — both designed to pair with Dog Mom Club DIY mixes.

Brown Eyes (Dog-Safe Cosmic Brownies)

These dog-safe cosmic brownies are made with our "DIY Brown Eyes" Mix. Our co-founder Leia walks through the full process on YouTube if you want to follow along.

Ingredients

  • 1 package DIY Brown Eyes Mix
  • 1 (3.9 oz) no sugar added applesauce package
  • 2 tbsp raw honey

Optional add-ins:

  • 1–2 tbsp no sugar added, xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1 package unsweetened coconut flakes (included)
  • 1–2 tbsp unsweetened carob chips (included)

Optional PB Glaze:

  • ½ cup no sugar added, xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix DIY Brown Eyes, applesauce, honey, and optional peanut butter until fully incorporated.
  3. Optionally fold in carob chips and coconut flakes.
  4. Grease an 8×8 pan and spread mixture evenly.
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes until edges pull away from the pan.
  6. Apply glaze if desired and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  7. Cut and serve to one very lucky dog.

Anzac Doggy Biscuits

These biscuits adapt the classic Australian Anzac biscuit for dogs. They pair with the Dog Mom Club "DIY Anzac" Mix and are wonderful baked in muffin tins with a peanut butter center.

Ingredients

  • 1 package DIY Anzac Mix
  • 1 (3.9 oz) no sugar added applesauce package
  • 1½ tbsp raw honey (honey or molasses can substitute for traditional golden syrup)

Optional add-ins:

  • 1 package raw sunflower seeds (included)
  • 1–2 tbsp unsweetened carob chips (included)
  • 2 tbsp water

Optional PB Glaze:

  • ½ cup no sugar added, xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine DIY Anzac Mix, applesauce, and honey until a dough forms.
  3. Optionally fold in carob chips and sunflower seeds.
  4. Prepare an 8×8 pan or muffin tins — make small indentations if adding peanut butter centers.
  5. Bake 15–20 minutes until edges separate from the pan.
  6. Apply glaze if desired and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  7. Cut and serve.

Always verify that any add-ins are xylitol-free and dog-safe before using. When in doubt, keep it simple — your pup will love it either way.
